Loy Krathong 'Festival of Lights' 7-Day Yoga Retreat

21 - 27 November 2026

Koh Samui, Thailand

Connect, refresh, and set powerful intentions.

  • Everyone is welcome.

This retreat is open to anyone (ages 12+) ready to connect with their inner light.

Whether you are seeking deep healing or simply a space to breathe, you are welcome exactly as you are.

  • What to expect.

A blend of daily yoga, meditation and island adventures, woven together with traditional Thai water ceremonies.

Expect deep community, connection, guided reflection, and plenty of space for celebratory rest under the full moon.

  • Give back to yourself.

This is your time to pause the noise of daily life and return to your natural rhythm.

Through practice and silence, we move from ‘doing’ to ‘being’, creating the stillness needed for true transformation.

  • What is Loy Krathong?

Thailand’s ‘Festival of Lights’ is a sacred time to honour the water and release the old. By floating a candle-lit Krathong, we let go of past burdens and make space for new intentions.

Meet the Retreat Team

  • Nok Pate

    RETREAT HOST & LEAD TEACHER

Nok is the founder of ETL Balance, a yoga teacher and personal trainer who believes movement can be a powerful way to reconnect with ourselves.

Originally from Thailand, Nok has lived in different parts of the world — including Austria and Papua New Guinea - before settling in Australia with her family.

Hosting this retreat during Loy Krathong feels especially meaningful for Nok. It is an opportunity to share a tradition close to her heart while bringing people together to practice, explore, and experience Thailand in a genuine and connected way.

  • Vicki Finn

    GUEST TEACHER

Vicki brings over 10 years of embodied yoga practice. She believes that asking the body to move in new ways also asks the mind to explore unknown and ignored places. Her aim is to help others build yogic tools to find ease and contentment in everyday life. After many international moves, Vicki is now based in Oslo, Norway, and leads retreats in Italy.

Nok and Vicki met in 2022 at Talia Sutra’s 200-hour yoga teacher training (YTT). Staying in touch, they were then roommates at Talia Sutra’s 300-hour YTT in 2025 in Rishikesh, India, growing together as practitioners and teachers over the years.

  • Jari Koot

    VIDEOGRAPHER

A creative storyteller with a deep appreciation for nature, travel, movement, and human connection, Jar’s work focuses on documenting experiences in a natural and unobtrusive way.

Nok first met Jari during her first retreat, where he beautifully captured the spirit and story of the experience. His work has meaningfully preserved the moments, memories, and connections that unfolded throughout the journey.

During this retreat, Jari will be documenting parts of the experience - the landscapes, the practice, and the shared moments - that make the week special.
